Springfield In the Community

I am sure you have heard the saying 'it takes a village to raise a child'. Family, school, community partnerships at Springfield promote family and community involvement in a child's learning.

We believe working closely with our parent community enhances the education that our children receive. Springfield Primary Academy offer a variety of parent workshops and information sessions throughout the academic year. These share with parents' expectations in a subject and strategies for supporting their children at home.

We have strong links with The Springfield Project, where Springfield Primary Academy pupils have benefit from holiday club provision during most school holidays.

There will always be families in need of additional help and support, and Springfield is proud to work closely with Hall Green families team to provide early help support to those who will benefit.

Springfield families are generous and always keen to help those who may be less fortunate than themselves. Through the generosity of staff and parents, we can host a food bank, for those in need, on the final day of each half term. Additionally, in the last year, we have supported local causes like Birmingham Children's Hospital through our Ramadan Toy Drive.

This year, we are very excited to be working with Birmingham Tree People to plant and establish new trees in our local area, Sparkhill.
